I’ve been making this plant protein shake daily for the past few months. In fact, I crave it in the mornings! I’ve worked it into my routine and is a lovely habit to have every day. It’s a protein shake with protein powder, mandarin or orange, and pistachios. You can use your favorite milk. I always use plain unsweetened milk and either Elmhurst cashew or almond milk or soymilk in my plant protein shake.
One of these smoothies contains 25-30 grams plant protein per serving, depending on the type of milk you use, with soymilk generally containing the most naturally-occurring protein per serving.

Sometimes I add on a side of toast or an egg if I’m extra hungry, to hold me over until lunch. Or I’ll snack on a couple protein balls alongside if I’m running around all morning in my car. I feel ready to tackle the day after this!
