As a member of Les Dames D’Escoffier, Michelle donates her resources to food-related charities. Active in her profession, she has served as a mentor to Arizona State University dietetic students and guest lectures, and precepts additional interns through out the year. She has served on various boards within the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. One of her favorite volunteer jobs is volunteering at her daughter’s school in the lunchroom!

Internships and Student Experiences

Chef Dudash Nutrition offers a variety of volunteer experiences for students and interns.

1. Each semester (fall, spring summer), Michelle accepts up to three dietetic students.

Location: Indianapolis area preferred, also virtual opportunities

Description: Opportunities in Indianapolis: Prep food props for TV segments and photo shoots, come along to TV segments, grocery shop. Virtual opportunities: assist with social media on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest; upload blogs and articles for website via WordPress; research for various projects. Experience in WordPress is a huge plus. Requires a commitment of at least 5 hours per week for a minimum of 2 months.

Paid: Unpaid for most students. Possibly paid for someone with PR experience and initiative. Plus 1 hour of free mentoring and eligible for letter of recommendation after 10 hours of work.
