Award-winning registered dietitian nutritionist, Cordon Bleu-certified chef and best-selling author Michelle Dudash has created the award-winning recipes for busy moms struggling to feed their families nourishing meals while the clock is ticking. As an on-the-go working mom herself, Michelle understood early on that it is possible to cook like a chef while eating like a nutritionist, which is where the idea materialized for her first book, Clean Eating for Busy Families (Fair Winds Press). In January 2016, Michelle launched her online program Clean Eating Cooking School: Monthly Meal Plans Made Simple.

Michelle is a sought after recipe developer, nutrition and culinary speaker, food writer and national registered dietitian spokesperson for select international brands in the whole foods, clean eating space. Recently she has provided ongoing consultation for California Avocado Commission, Chobani, national MilkLife campaign, Sunkist, The Wonderful Company, KIND Healthy Snacks, and Beech-Nut, among others.

Michelle is the healthy recipe columnist for the Arizona Republic’s “Dish with Dudash®,” a regular contributor to Food Network’s “Healthy Eats” blog, and she has also contributed her savory creations to Diabetic Living, Better Homes and Gardens “Skinny Slow Cooker,” OXYGEN, Martha Stewart’s Whole Living, and a variety of food companies. Her clean eating articles have appeared in EatingWell, SELF, Parents, Food Network and Shape. Journalists regularly call on her expertise for publications including USA Today, Today, Bon Appétit, The Washington Post, The Huffington Post, Kiwi, REDBOOK, WebMD, Family Circle, Time, Prevention, Forbes, Today’s Dietitian, The Cooking Channel and many more. Education and Training

Michelle graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.S. degree in dietetics and a few years later she earned her toque from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Scottsdale. Her recipes have appeared at A-list celebrity events, she cooked at the Mobil Five Star restaurant Mary Elaine’s, and was a private chef serving guests including English royalty. Fresh out of college, she learned the art of foodservice management with Compass Group, USA.

Active in Her Profession and Community

Michelle has served in leadership roles in many levels of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, including past-president of the Arizona Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and past Education Chair of the Food and Culinary Professionals Dietetic Practice Group. Michelle continuously mentors interns as they complete nationally accredited dietetic programs and is a guest lecturer at Arizona State University. Michelle is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals and Les Dames d’ Escoffier, an invitation-only professional and philanthropic organization, as well as Nutrition Entrepreneurs Dietetic Practice Group. Michelle’s favorite volunteer position is being a lunch lady at her daughter’s school.

Michelle practices yoga, relishes a brisk run, and squeezes in weight lifting when she can. When traveling, she is always on the lookout for the best food experiences, whether it is bringing a container of tuna poke to the beach, noshing on a juicy peach at the local farmers market, or savoring a fine chef’s creations. When at home in Scottsdale, Arizona or Carmel, Indiana (just outside Indianapolis), she loves to cook wholesome meals for her husband and two young daughters.
