Description

You won’t miss the alcohol in this virgin spicy margarita recipe – the spicy jalapenos and aromatic bitters are the perfect addition to pomegranate juice. Easy and delicious!

Ingredients

Scale

23 slices jalapeno (or omit for a mild margarita)
4 ounces 100% pomegranate juice
Juice of 1/2 lime
23 drops aromatic bitters
24 ounces flavored sparkling water, like blood orange or grapefruit flavor

Instructions

If you wish to rim the glass with a cocktail rim salt, do so now.

Muddle the jalapeño in a pint glass or cocktail shaker. (*Add the agave now, too, if you
will be using it.) Pour in the pomegranate and lime juices and bitters. Fill with crushed
ice. Cover and shake.

Pour contents of shaker and sparkling water into the glass at the same time.

Optional add-ons:
For added sweetness, muddle the jalapenos with agave nectar, to taste.
For a flavorful and decorative garnish, rim the glass first with cocktail rimming salt
before pouring in the cocktail.
