From easy and yummy homemade recipes to premade dips to refreshing drinks and tempting desserts, you can conveniently shop at ALDI and save money on all your party essentials. Here are five big ways you can shop at ALDI to get ready for your football party:

Buffalo Chicken Meatballs Football Food

1. Put Buffalo Sauce on Everything
I am Buffalo sauce-obsessed. I love it on everything, especially chicken. Enter this easy-to-prepare, slow cooker Buffalo Chicken Meatballs with Light Ranch Sauce recipe. Make them with ALDI-exclusive Never Any! Chicken breasts, the line that recently earned the Good Housekeeping Seal, a symbol of quality assurance and consumer protection since 1909. Every Wednesday, ALDI also offers Weekly Fresh Meat Specials with extra-low prices on the best cuts of meat, making it a great time to load up.

ALDI Guacamole and Sesame Crisps football food

2. Authentic Guacamole for Everyone
To me, it’s not a true tailgate menu unless good guacamole is present. If you don’t have time to make it from scratch, don’t feel guilty about buying it premade. I sure don’t! I absolutely love Little Salad Bar Chunky Guacamole from ALDI, which is bursting with flavor and recently earned a 2018 Product of the Year Award by Product of the Year USA.

For a new twist, serve the guac with ALDI-exclusive liveGfree Gluten Free Black Sesame Brown Rice Crisps. You can sprinkle on crumbled cheese, chopped scallions, pumpkin seeds, and even pomegranate arils this time of year. You’ll find all sorts of surprises at ALDI in the cheese and produce sections—including a wide assortment of organic options. Similar to the Never Any! line, the ALDI-exclusive liveGfree line was also awarded the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval.

ALDI Wines for Game Day Food

3. At ALDI, There’s a Drink for That
Having a solid beverage selection on game day is trés importante. The high-quality, low price beer and wine selection at ALDI will amaze you. Why spend $20 on a bottle of wine when you can spend less than $10 for the same (if not better) taste? I am all about the rosé these days (just don’t overchill it) and love La Rue Cotes de Provence Rosé offered at ALDI. For white, try their Exquisite Collection Sauvignon Blanc, and for red, their brand-new Peaks & Tides Cabernet Sauvignon. IPA beers are all the rage and for that, check out Wild Range IPA at ALDI. For a festive non-alcoholic option, pick up a bottle of Nature’s Nectar Unfiltered Apple Cider.

4. Easy but Impressive Charcuterie Board
I have hosted a lot of parties and I almost always serve a meat and cheese board because it requires almost zero time in the kitchen and people love it. But instead of buying the premade deli platter on a (gasp!) disposable tray, I buy all of the components separate and arrange them on a pretty wood cutting board. ALDI has all sorts of meats and cheeses to produce a charcuterie board you will be proud of. My go-to options from ALDI are Specially Selected Aged Reserved White Cheddar and Smoked Gouda, along with Appleton Farms deli meats like Prosciutto, Sliced Dry Salami and the Gourmet Deli Selection with Pepper Salami, Hot Capocollo and Hot Calabrese.

5. Semi-Homemade Crowd-Pleasing Desserts
For a full day of football, you want to aim for something that can hang out for a while and stay looking good on your game day spread, so you can keep your focus on the game. Kids and adults alike love brownies so give them what they want, by making semi-homemade brownies with liveGfree Gluten Free Chocolate Baking Mix. Sprinkle them with toppings to up the ante, like chocolate chips, chopped walnuts, or a drizzle of dark chocolate.
